Put on a few extra pounds over Xmas? How about some exercise in the fresh Solent air!
Come along and be part of planting the Alver valley’s very own fruiting hedge. Imagine next autumn, picking blackberries and apples for crumbles, plums and damsons for jam making and perhaps make a little sloe gin for those cold winter days.
We will be planting near Noah Lake adjacent to Cherque Way from 10.00am until dusk.
All tools, refreshments and expertise provided. Please bring sturdy footwear, old clothes and plenty of enthusiasm.
