This August Bank Holiday Monday the Lee on Solent Community Association are organising a day of family fun opposite the community centre, next to the big park on the edge of Cherque Farm. Activities include a balloon race, bouncy castle and jousting. There will also be a soloist singer, bbq and candy floss to add to the carnival atmosphere.
This event is intended as a fund raiser for the Community Association, who intent to use the proceeds to help fund a larger event next year to mark the Diamond Jubilee.
