Gosport Fire Station is opening its doors for a day of family fun and fire safety.
The Community Open Day will provide local residents the chance to visit their fire station and gain an insight into the various activities firefighters undertake. There will be entertainment for children as well as fire and rescue demonstrations. Refreshments, snacks and merchandise will be on sale, with all monies raised going to charities.
Station crews will perform short displays throughout the day and there will be a variety of stalls together with plenty of activities to keep younger visitors entertained. Firefighters will also be showcasing the equipment they use to help keep Gosport and the surrounding area safe.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service's open days provide an opportunity to learn more about safety matters from home to road safety.
