This Saturday 22nd and Sunday 24th October, the Mayor and Mayoress of Fareham will be joined by Helen Somerset, founder of The Rainbow Centre, to launch a weekend of special events
To help kick start the Wish Upon a Rainbow event taking place between Card Factory and H. Samuel inside Fareham Shopping Centre, Mayor Councillor Trevor Cartwright and the Mayoress Mrs Ruth Cartwright will be joined by The Rainbow Centre founder Helen Somerset.
Children and families are invited to post their wishes and promises on the giant sized rainbow, anything from wishing the children of The Rainbow Centre health and happiness to promising to be well behaved for their parents ahead of Christmas or to complete their household chores!
All donations will go to the charity that inspires and supports children with cerebral palsy and adults with mobility problems caused through strokes, Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis.
Those that get involved will be entered into a special prize draw where the winner will be chosen at random to win a coveted prize.
