If you find yourself wanting to get out and about with your little one or maybe you are expecting and would like to meet some other expectant parents why not pop along to one of the many bump, baby and toddler groups in our area.
Monday
Wiggle and Giggle
1.15-2.45pm - Stubblee Hill Children's Centre
Bubbles, singing and rhymes, textures and other activities are explored and shared together in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The morning session is for babies from birth - 7 months and the afternoon session is for 8 months - walking. £1,per session. No need to book - just pop in.
Tuesday
Lee Community Church Baby and Toddler Group
10.00-12.00pm - Lee Community Centre
Lee Community Centre (Activities Hall), Twyford Drive, Lee On The Solent. A friendly group where you can enjoy relaxing with other parents and carers while your child explores the many toys we have on offer. Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits included in the fee. Term time only. Birth-5years. £2 entry, first visit free.
Stubbington Baby and Toddler Group
1.30-3.00pm - Stubbington Baptist Church
This new group will be held at Stubbington Baptist Church, Jay Close, Stubbington. £1 per family. Call 0753 185 6465 for more information. This group will not be running throughout August.
Wednesday
Breastfeeding Cafe
10.00-12.00pm - Stubblee Hill Children's Centre
Come along and enjoy a coffee and a chat with other breastfeeding mums. £1 per session. Mums-to-be welcome.
Antenatal Hour @ the Breastfeeding Cafe
10.00-11.00am - Stubblee Hill Children's Centre
Are you thinking of breastfeeding? Not sure? Come along and meet other mums who are breasteeding. £1.00 - refreshments available. Places must be booked - creche available for older siblings.
Tiny Explorers
1.00-2.00pm - Gosport Discovery Centre
Meet every Wednesday Gosport Discovery Centre (mezzanine floor) – a friendly parent and baby group for tiny ones with a focus on time for you as well as your baby.Discover simple activities for you and your baby (e.g. treasure baskets, great playdough recipes, mini-massage etc.) and meet other parents.
Little Stubblees

A drop-in messy play session for children aged from walking to three years. £1 per session. Just pop in.
Thursday
Time to Play
9.15am- 11.30am - Stubblee Hill Children's Centre
A messy play session for under fives. No need to book - just drop in! £1 per session.
Baby Play
10.00-12.00pm - Crofton Community Centre
Our popular Wiggle and Giggle session will now also be running at Crofton Community Centre in Stubbington in support of the Child Health Clinic. The age range for this group is babies to walking. £1 per session. No need to book, just drop in.
Friday
Grandparents Group
9.00-11.00am - Stubblee Hill Children's Centre
A chance for grandparents to come along with their grandchildren to enjoy some messy play. This group takes place the last Friday of every month. Just pop along and the group cost £1 per family.
Childminders Session
9.30-11.00am - Stubblee Hill Children's Centre
A drop in session for childminders only.
Little Explorers
10.00-12.00pm - Various Locations
Little Explorers is NCT Gosport & Lee's out and about baby and toddler group, meeting in different locations throughout Gosport and Lee each week. Bumps and Babies
11.00-12.30pm - St Faith's Church
St Faith's Church and Stubblee Hill are working together to bring you this group every Friday. It will be held at St Faith's Church In Lee-on-the-Solent from 11am-12.30pm. The group will cost £1.50 per family and is for pregnant mum's and mum/dad carers with a baby 0 - 6 months. This group will not be running throughout August, but will start again on Friday 16th September.
